Siamnity is an audio guide app, discreetly assisted by artificial intelligence, designed for exploring the cultural heritage of Siam on your own. Between themed routes on foot, by bicycle or by tuk-tuk, documented narratives, background explanations, points of interest along the way and carefully chosen cafes and restaurants, our audio guides are built so that you can explore Thailand's cultural heritage off the beaten path without missing any of its landmarks.
This first version of Siamnity offers a selection of themed routes for exploring Bangkok on your own. The next release will let you build your own itineraries freely, starting from wherever you choose, and will open up new cultural routes in Kanchanaburi, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Mae Salong, Isan and southern Thailand.

Originally conceived to help newcomers settle into Bangkok during short and medium stays — interns, employees, partners, clients, suppliers — Bangkok 3.60 also speaks, by extension, to anyone who wants to discover Bangkok in depth over three immersive days, and come away knowing more than 90% of long-standing residents.

The app
A cultural guide in your pocket, built to make sense of places, not just to visit them
This first version of Siamnity does more than reel off dates in front of a monument or a heritage site. Every stop on a route places the site in its period, explains what it was for and how it was used, and restores its role in history and in the life of the communities around it.
- Documented audio narratives: Every piece of content is built from verified sources and from fieldwork carried out across Thailand. Artificial intelligence serves as a research and enrichment tool, and the material is then reviewed and approved before publication.
- Full transcripts: Every narrative can be listened to or read. This dual approach lets you carry on exploring in any situation, from the silence of a temple to the bustle of a street or a market.
- Major heritage and lesser-known places: Siamnity pairs the landmarks you cannot miss with lesser-known places chosen for their historical, cultural, architectural or community interest. The app also draws your attention to details worth noticing, so that a visit becomes more than a visit and you understand what you are looking at.
- Available in English and French: The first version of Siamnity is offered in English and French. Further languages will be added from the second version onwards, opening these cultural routes to a wider international audience.
How it works
You choose, Siamnity tells the story
No group, no fixed schedule, no circuit to be rushed through. You decide the day, the pace and the length — the narration follows.
Choose your tour
Routes are designed to take five to eight hours, mainly on foot — our recommendation for taking in a place and its atmosphere properly. Some routes lend themselves better to a bicycle, which we always say. For travellers with reduced mobility, an electric tuk-tuk is an option too. Nothing technically demanding is involved: the routes are accessible, safe and made for unhurried discovery, at your own pace.
Set off whenever you like
On the day, bring a cap, sunscreen and comfortable shoes such as trainers. For temple visits, wear clothing that covers your shoulders and your legs above the knee. We also suggest carrying around 1,000 THB in cash. The tour opens straight in your browser, with no app to install. The interactive map takes you from one stop to the next: follow the route in the order suggested, or explore it freely at your own pace.
Listen, look, play
At each stop, an audio narrative comes with its transcript and with details to look out for, turning the visit into active exploration — enjoyable and informative at once. Before moving on, a short quiz invites you to hold on to the essentials of the stop you have just discovered, and unlocks the next destination. An interactive map then guides you throughout the route, showing exactly which way to go and which selected points of interest to find along the way.

Bangkok : three faces of one city
Three faces of the Thai capital explored through three complementary themes: artistic creation and the worlds around it (Rock Around Creative District), the history of Rattanakosin and the making of contemporary Bangkok (Rock Around Rattanakosin), and the initiatives shaping a more sustainable metropolis (Rock Around Bang Krachao). Each tour runs from half a day to a full day, on foot or by bicycle, and gathers around ten stops tied together by a single narrative thread.

Bangkok today, the kingdom next
After Bangkok, Siamnity will gradually extend its collection of routes to the kingdom's former capitals, Ayutthaya and Sukhothai, and to Kanchanaburi, with new audio guides available by the end of 2026. The app will then move north, from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son and Mae Salong, then to Isan, through Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom. In time, Siamnity will also reach southern Thailand, as far as the still-unspoilt landscapes and shores of the Andaman coast.

Where Siamnity comes from
Siamnity is an app developed by Rock Around Siam
A bespoke private cultural travel agency based in Bangkok, Rock Around Siam designs itineraries that make culture the way into Thailand. Siamnity is its direct extension.
The agency's fieldwork — historical research, scouting, encounters, trial itineraries — feeds private guided tours which, by their nature, reach only a handful of travellers at a time. Siamnity was born of the realisation that part of that knowledge could be passed on differently: to those who would rather explore alone, at their own pace, without a guide or a timetable, and without giving up the depth of the story. Same method, same documentary standard — an audio guide rather than a companion.
